"I don't understand her" is one of the greatest silent cries that most men face. Generally, this simple yet profound statement surfaces after an intense argument or any other unproductive conversation with your wife, fiancé, girlfriend, or side chick. Any man who has ever thought or uttered these words indelibly knows the gut-wrenching frustration, anger, and hopelessness one feels surrounding this confession. What's even worst is feeling this exact way without having a healthy outlet to defuse it. Most of the time, the standard prescription for this type of situation is immediate silence and distance, demonstrating a harsh demeanor, and turning to one of our favorite "habits" to "gather ourselves." Although most of us know this customary routine won't resolve our current issue(s) with her, at least it provides a temporal safe haven for reflection.
